Save Instagram downloads on Android
Open ReelDown in your Android browser and choose the tool for your post: Reels, Photo or Carousel. Use content you own or have permission to save.
Download and open a file
- Copy the individual Instagram post link from its sharing menu.
- Paste it into the downloader and submit it. Check the returned preview.
- Use the file download button. If Android asks where to save, choose a folder you can find.
- In Chrome, open the menu and choose Downloads to view the transfer. Open a completed item or use your device’s Files app.

Why is the file missing from Gallery?
A browser download can exist in Files without appearing in Gallery. Open the actual file first and check its format. Gallery behavior differs between Android devices and apps.
When a transfer stops
Check your connection, storage and the browser’s download status. Retry after resolving a paused transfer. If an album ZIP fails, save individual items. Private, expired or unavailable source content cannot be recovered by changing the download folder.
