The ReelDown website links to an optional Chrome extension. You can also use the web downloader without installing it.

Before installing

Check the current listing, publisher, permissions and browser compatibility in the Chrome Web Store. Availability and extension behavior can change independently of this website. This page does not claim an independently verified rating or security certification.

If the extension is unavailable

Copy the individual Instagram post link and paste it into the Reels, Video or Photo tool. The web workflow does not require an extension.

Using a phone or tablet

Use the browser workflow described in the iPhone guide or Android guide. Do not assume a desktop extension is installable in your mobile browser.
